ADWA Announces Title Sponsor of Deer & Wildlife Stories

The American Deer & Wildlife Alliance is proud to announce it will be the title sponsor of the new outdoor television program, Keith Warren’s Deer & Wildlife Stories, airing on the Outdoor Channel. The new show will debut in January and will get up close and personal with whitetail deer and educate viewers about the future of the species.

The new show will debut on the Outdoor Channel on January 3, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. and air three times a  week.

“This nationally broadcast show will definitely be different then any other show on the network in that we will feature no hunting at all, but every hunter will find it a must-see show. This is a program where the whitetail deer is the star of the show,” says executive producer Keith Warren.

“Deer & Wildlife Stories will be informative and educational in nature as we address issues of concern such as land fragmentation, deer overpopulation, habitat management and conservation,” says John Meng, executive director of ADWA. “By addressing these issues from a deer industry perspective rather than simply a hunter perspective, this show is truly unique and we’re excited to be the title sponsor.”

The program will also feature well-known whitetail deer breeding operations and deer breeders who have set aside their property and dedicated it to betterment of whitetail deer. These land owners, explains Warren, take it upon themselves to protect the land and native plant species where all species of animals benefit. These special people are examples to others and they truly are some of our countries best environmentalists.

Warren is uniquely qualified to produce such a program. Besides producing and hosting outdoor hunting and fishing programs for 25 years, he is a rancher and a licensed deer breeder.

“I am keenly aware of the challenges landowners and deer breeders face and I am aggressively looking forward to producing this show. It will change the way many hunters think about the whitetail (and deer breeders) and it will help create a brighter future for the whitetail deer,” he say.
